What Does ‘PL’ Mean in Betting?

Depending on the context, PL can stand for “Puck Line” in hockey betting, or “Profit Line”, popular in horse racing.

Puck Line betting is a form of hockey betting that uses a point spread in order to even out the chances of either team winning. The team that is favored must win by more than the point spread for the bet to be successful, whereas the underdog team must either win outright or lose by less than the point spread.
