- Disclaimer
Some of the shows I’ve mentioned above, like Cirque du Soleil, David Copperfield, Extravaganza, Thunder From Down Under, and a few others, are also considered top production shows. So, don’t miss out on those if your goal is to see a top Vegas production. On the other hand, many production shows are still canceled, like Absinthe, Tenors of Rock, Mac King, and Tournament of Kings, but are definitely worth the money once they’re available again. So, keep an eye out for those.
Tribute Acts
Some of us wish to go down memory lane, while others just hope to get a glimpse of some of the strongest musical eras. That’s normally possible with first-class tributes in Vegas, so take a look.
Purple Piano: A Celebration of Prince
- Ticket price: $48+
- Available dates: From May 13, 2021
- Location: Alexis Park All Suite Resort, 375 East Harmon Ave
Prince is definitely one of the most beloved singers in Sin City, hence the many tribute and impersonator shows. This tribute show is a bit different than others as it focuses on Prince’s last tour, which was a bit more intimate. The tribute does a great job of translating that feeling of only a singer and a piano on a grand stage. Don’t worry; the musicians behind this show are masters of their craft.
Queens of Rock
- Ticket price: $40+
- Available dates: From May 13, 2021
- Location: The Mosaic On The Strip, 3765 South Las Vegas Boulevard
- Website: www.queensofrocklv.com
Singer Elyzabeth Diaga brings the classic rock sounds closer to you. The theater will be bursting with some of the greatest sounds known to us — Joan Jett, Evanescence, Pat Benetar, Heart, and many more. If you want to travel back in time and listen to some powerful women rocking out, this is the show to be. Diaga hits those hard melodies like no one I’ve ever heard, so the show is definitely worth your time.
Motown Extreme

Las Vegas is one place that can offer anything and everything you’ve dreamed of. Want to reminisce about the good old times with some Motown music? The Motown Extreme tribute will take you back to hits from Smokey Robinson, The Temptations, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, and the Supremes, and many other top-of-the-line performers. Be prepared to leave your seat once you hear the first beat and dance all night long.
Las Vegas VIP Experiences
If you’re looking for vacation VIP (Las Vegas) experiences, you can get them for almost any available show. However, maybe not all of them are worth your time and money. So, take a look at the few I’ve already mentioned but with a few tweaks.
- Cirque du Soleil
Currently, Cirque du Soleil offers a VIP Las Vegas experience for their hit production show “O” — something that you don’t want to miss. The whole experience includes a pre-show reception with hors d’oeuvres, drinks, and a guided tour. Naturally, you’ll also get to meet the performers and enjoy exclusive VIP seating. The tickets go for around $366 per show.
- Extravaganza
Extravaganza is one of the best family-friendly production shows in Vegas, so it’s not surprising that many people want the VIP experience. Luckily, the show offers both a Premium and a VIP experience, with the only difference being the VIP booth. The ticket prices are the same for both choices, which is around $178 per ticket.
- David Copperfield
Naturally, one of the world’s best magicians has a true VIP experience that many fans want to take part in. You’ll get to meet Copperfield himself, chat for a bit, get a signed picture, and even witness a VIP magical illusion. If that sounds good, prepare to pay around $112 for one ticket.
- Blue Man Group
Getting the Blue Man Group VIP experience will make you feel as if you’re a part of the group. You’ll be close to the action and get to meet the three very secretive members of the famous comedy group. Fans with VIP tickets will also have pre- and post-show access, making the whole thing all the more unforgettable. Tickets go for approximately $175.
Variety Shows
When it comes to Las vegas variety shows, you never know what to expect. Unfortunately, the choices are quite limited at the moment due to the global health crisis. Some of the shows I’ve mentioned above are also considered to be high-quality variety shows, so here’s a reminder.
- V — The Ultimate Variety Show
- Extravaganza
- RuPaul’s Drag Race Live! Las Vegas
- Blue Man Group
- “O” by Cirque du Soleil
- Vegas! The Show
- Magic Mike
You should also note that some of the top-performing variety shows are currently not available, but might be once your Vegas trip comes around. So, keep your eye on the following variety shows:
- Le Rêve — The Dream
- Opium
- Absinthe
- WOW — The Vegas Spectacular
Before You Go
Las Vegas is the perfect place for making all of your dreams come true. Note that tickets usually sell out quickly, especially the big names. So, you should always stay one step ahead and book the show you want to see as soon as the tickets go on sale. Remember that Vegas is all about having fun and enjoying yourself, whether you’re traveling with your family, group of friends, significant other, or by yourself. Unwind and let Vegas take over.
Hopefully, this list has helped you narrow down your Las Vegas show choices even a little bit. If you have any questions, feel free to hit me up in the comments below.
