A massive night of boxing action in Saudi Arabia is set for December 23, as some of the biggest names in the heavyweight division will be on the card. Anthony Joshua will be among those, as he looks to continue his winning run before a likely showdown against Deontay Wilder in early 2024.
Joshua is slowly getting back on track after suffering back-to-back defeats against Oleksandr Usyk for the WBO, IBF, WBA, and IBO heavyweight titles. He bounced back from that loss with a decision success against Jermaine Franklin in April, before scoring a dominant KO success against Robert Helenius in August at the O2 Arena.

However, this bout against Otto Wallin could be a potential banana skin, as the Swede is ranked as the worldโs fourth best heavyweight by TBRB. Wallin has suffered just a single professional defeat in 28 appearances, with that loss being suffered against Tyson Fury. However, he pushed the Gypsy King to his limit in that bout, and it could be argued that he came the closest to beating the lineal champion.
Wallen has continued to impress since that defeat, scoring six straight victories between 2020 and 2023. His latest fight was in September, as he scored a split decision win against Murat Gassiev to capture the WBA Intercontinental heavyweight title. He has shown previously that he is a fighter who can often throw hands with the best in the division.
