Fight Preview
Both fighters used to fight in the UFC, and both are undefeated since switching to bare-knuckle boxing. Mike “Platinum” Perry’s mixed martial arts record is 14-8, while he’s 3-0 in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC).
In the BKFC, he defeated some pretty tough opponents. After a win over Julian Lane on his BKFC debut, Perry went on to beat Michael “Venom” Page.
Then, in the only fight he’s fought so far in 2023, he beat the former UFC Middleweight champion Luke Rockhold by a TKO. The fight in question saw Perry move to the Light Heavyweight division.
He destroyed Rockhold in that fight, absolutely shattering his teeth with his fists. This came as a sort of a surprise to MMA fans and bettors, given that Rockhold is five inches taller than Perry, with a much longer reach.
Perry demolished the 6’3 Rockhold in April and is planning to do the same to the 5’7 Eddie Alvarez. But Perry needs to be careful against “The Underground King.” After all, this is the guy who knocked out Justin Gaethje in the UFC.
However, that happened exactly six years ago, and since then, Alvarez has been without a single win by a KO/TKO. Actually, he’s 2-3-1 since, with a submission win in ONE Championship and a split-decision win against Chad Mendez on his BKFC debut.

Plus, this guy’s tasted blood and he wants more. Perry destroyed Rockhold earlier this year and is going to destroy Alvarez on December 2!
