Fight Preview
Jake Paul returns to the ring for the first time since suffering a first professional defeat at the hands of Tommy Fury. The YouTuber has accumulated a record of 6-1 during his professional career, and has made a name for himself for beating former stars from the world of MMA. However, he came up short in his first battle against a professional boxer, and once again returns to safer waters this weekend.
Paul was last in action at the end of February, as he lost by split decision in Saudi Arabia against Fury. However, in truth, he was lucky that he wasnโt beaten by majority decision. He is back in calmer waters on Saturday, as he looks for a fifth straight victory against a former MMA star, following wins over Anderson Silva, Tyron Woodley, and Ben Askren.

Nate Diaz is the latest star to try his hand at boxing, as he called time on his MMA career at the end of 2022. The 38-year-old was an emphatic winner in his last fight in the UFC, defeating Tony Ferguson by submission in the fourth round. However, his decision to not re-sign with the UFC was made before stepping into the octagon in September 2022.
Diaz has competed against some of the biggest names in MMA, defeating Conor McGregor in March 2016, before suffering defeats against the same rival, as well as Jorge Masvidal and Leon Edwards. Diaz announced his decision to try his hand at boxing in April, but whether he has the knockout power or ring IQ to test Paul remains to be seen.
Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz Prediction
Paul is back in familiar waters on Saturday, as he returns to action against an MMA star following defeat against a professional boxer. This is the level where the YouTuber can excel, as he is better than most ex-MMA guys, but not nearly on the level of a professional boxer.
