Game Preview
Arlington got a massive road win on Saturday, holding off a late push from the Guardians and improving to 4-4 on the season. Despite having a -30 point differential, the Renegades are in prime position to make the playoffs, needing just one more win or a Brahmas loss to clinch their spot. This is mostly thanks to a weak south division, but Arlington also has one of the XFL’s best defenses. They’ll go for the clinch here.
The Defenders bounced back from their 37-36 loss against the Guardians with an equally thrilling 34-33 win over the Sea Dragons. DC continues to hold the XFL’s best record and point differential, but still has work to do to lock down the top spot in a brutal north division. A win here would get them one step closer, while a win and a Battlehawks loss would lock up the #1 spot. They’ll rely again on their scorching offense.

That’s a difference of over 10 points per game in final result. Coupled with the game being in DC, and the Defenders should be able to get the win.
