Event Preview
The streets of Marina Bay will be in action in Singapore this weekend, as the latest round of Formula 1 action is staged. This weekendโs race is typically one of the most action packed on the schedule, with every race since its inception seeing at least one safety car being deployed. It tests drivers to their limits over the 4.928km circuit distance, with a total of 62 laps completed to make up the 308.706km race distance.
Sebastian Vettel is the most successful driver in the race, as the German won on five occasions throughout his career. Meanwhile, the teams of Mercedes, Red Bull, and Ferrari are level for the most wins with four victories apiece.

Once again this weekend, all eyes will be on Red Bull and Max Verstappen, who will be targeting an eleventh straight win. The constructor has won all races so far this term, and that dominance continued in Italy, as Verstappen and Sergio Perez completed a one-two. It could be challenging to overlook the team once again this weekend.
Ferrari was the closest team to Red Bull in Italy, with Carlos Sainz taking third, and Charles Leclerc finishing a narrow fourth behind his teammate. However, the fact that they donโt have home track advantage this weekend would be a concern. The pace of the Aston Martin has dropped off since the summer, while McLaren enjoyed another fine weekend in Italy with Lando Norris landing eighth.
Singapore Grand Prix Prediction
We will be going with a slightly left-field selection this weekend. All is not well behind the scenes at Red Bull following Helmut Markoโs recent comments about Perez. Therefore, a chance will be taken on Hamilton to win his first race in two seasons, with Perez finishing on the podium.
