Event Preview

The fourth race on the F1 schedule for 2025 will see the Bahrain Grand Prix staged on Sunday. This race has been held annually since 2004, and it has been staged at the Bahrain International Circuit since its inception. Drivers will complete a total of 191.530 miles, which is made up of 57 laps.

Max Verstappen got his championship challenge back on track in Japan with an outstanding drive from the front. The Dutchman was able to hold off the McLaren duo of Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, despite being in a slower car.

However, Red Bull’s challenge for the Constructors’ Championship is likely to hinge on how quickly Yuki Tsunoda adapts to the car following his move from the Racing Bulls.

Last weekend was yet another indicator that McLaren’s in-race decisions could impact both of their drivers’ chances of winning the championship. Piastri looked the quicker of the drivers throughout the weekend, but the team resisted any urge to swap their cars on track.

Big questions will be asked of Ferrari and Mercedes this weekend, as neither looked to have the race pace to challenge the top three in Japan.

George Russell finished fifth, while Charles Leclerc would have taken small positives after finishing fourth. Lewis Hamilton will be hoping for improvement in his car this weekend after a frustrating seventh-place finish in Japan.

Bahrain Grand Prix Picks

A more traditional track will ensure that there are more overtaking opportunities this weekend. That will suit both of the McLarens. However, Piastri’s performances this season have caught the eye, and he could be the better value at the odds available this weekend.
