Event Preview

The 2025 Formula 1 season continues this weekend, as the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be staged. It has been a dominant start to the season by McLaren, who have won three of the four races. That currently gives the team a healthy advantage in the Constructors’ Championship, while Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri are separated by just three points in the drivers’ Championship.

Norris has been in excellent form at the start of the season, achieving podium finishes in all four races to this point. However, his worst finish of the season was recorded in Bahrain, as the Brit needed to settle for third after finishing behind Piastri and George Russell.

It was an excellent drive by Piastri in Bahrain, as he quickly navigated the first couple of corners before opening up a dominant advantage over Russell. Russell enjoyed another strong weekend in the Mercedes, taking second to achieve a third podium in four races.

It was another testing weekend for Ferrari. Charles Leclerc could only finish fourth for the second race weekend running, while Lewis Hamilton settled for fifth. Red Bull were also off the pace in Bahrain, with Verstappen finishing sixth and Yuki Tsunoda finishing no better than ninth.

Saudi Arabian Grand Prix Picks

This weekend’s race is another track that should suit the two McLarens. Piastri produced a coming of age display to showcase his championship credentials last weekend, and we could foresee him moving to the top of the Drivers’ Championship on Sunday.
