Race Preview
The thrilling action on the F1 schedule resumes this weekend, with massive points up for grabs with the Sprint Race and Grand Prix staged on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
This weekendâs race forms the 19th contest of the season, with the field completing 308.405 km of the Circuit of the Americas. Lewis Hamilton is the most successful driver in the history of the race with six victories, while Ferrari is the dominant team with ten wins.
However, this weekendâs race will be all about the battle at the top of the Driversâ Standings. Max Verstappenâs advantage at the summit stands at 52 points over Lando Norris, with the British driver cutting the gap after winning in Singapore three weeks ago.

But, Verstappen will be aware that he can retain his title by finishing second behind Norris in every remaining race. McLarenâs big season goal remains the Constructorsâ Championship, which they lead by over 40 points from Red Bull.
Ferrari could yet catch the reigning champions, as they sit just 34 points behind. Mercedes have work to do to get involved, and they have appeared to lack the race pace in recent races to truly trouble the pace setters.
United States Grand Prix Picks
Charles Leclerc could be the value angle this weekend after finishing in the top three in four of the last five races. He performed an excellent recovery drive to claim fifth in Singapore before the three-week break, and the Ferrari driver could increase the pressure on Red Bull by landing Grand Prix success on Sunday.
