Event Preview
The 3M Open is staged a week after a thrilling Open, which saw Brian Harman defy the odds to land a dominant first major success. This weekend will see the PGA Tour action return Stateside, with the 3M Open taking place at TPC Twin Cities in Minnesota. A total distance of 7,431 yards will be covered this weekend, with a purse of $7.8 million up for grabs for the players involved.
Matthew Wolff holds the record score at the event, as he finished -21 when landing success at the inaugural event in 2019. Since then, Cameron Champ, Michael Thompson, and Tony Finau have all landed victories in this PGA Tour event. Last yearโs winner currently heads the betting this weekend, but he will need to bounce back after failing to make the cut at The Open last weekend.

Sepp Straka is one player in the betting that enjoyed an excellent Open last weekend, as he finished seven-under to finish in a tie for second. The Austrian could once again out-perform his odds in Minnesota this weekend. Cameron Young could also be a solid contender this weekend, as he achieved another solid round at The Open, as he finished inside the top ten.
Sungjae Im could be another of the value players at the current prices, as he showed that he is a solid player around the course at TPC Twin Cities 12 months ago after finishing in a tie for 12. Emiliano Grillo also comes into this weekend after finishing second in 2022, and he should also be confident after finishing in a tie for sixth at The Open last weekend.
3M Open Prediction
It should be a wide-open event at TPC Twin Cities this weekend, but one player that we are very sweet on is Cam Davis. The Australian missed out on a starting spot at The Open last weekend, and he will be keen to make amends this weekend. He has a solid record at the event, having finished in the top 15 in two of the last three years.
