Event Preview
One of the standout events on the PGA Tour is set for this week, as the Arnold Palmer Invitational is staged in Florida. A field of world-class players will be in action to win their share of the $20 million purse at Bay Hill Club and Lodge.
A total distance of 7,466 yards will be covered by the field in the stroke play event, with the par 72 event being held annually in March. The tournament record aggregate score was set by Payne Stewart in 1987, while the par record was set by Buddy Allin in 1973.
Scottie Scheffler will be a very hot selection this week, as the world’s top-ranked player looks to win the Arnold Palmer for a third time. He was a dominant five-stroke winner of the event in 2024, but he is such a short price in the betting this week.
