Event Preview
Competitive golf action will be staged in Germany this weekend, as the home city of BMW hosts the BMW International Open. This event has been staged on the European Tour annually since 1989, with the competition taking place in Munich since 2012. For a time, it was the only European Tour event staged in Germany, before the European Open was moved to the nation in 2015.
John Daly holds the tournament record scores for best aggregate and par finishes, as he finished 27-under when landing victory in 2001. Li Haotong comes into the event this weekend as the defending champion, as he beat Thomas Pieters in a thrilling playoff finish 12 months ago.

Polish star Adrian Meronk is the clear favorite at the top of the betting this weekend, as he bids to bounce back following a disappointing outing at the U.S. Open. The 30-year-old missed the cut last weekend. That was the second straight event in which he had failed to make the midweek action. Rasmus Hojgaard didnโt play in last weekendโs major, and he comes into this after finishing seven-over when competing in the European Open in Germany at the start of June.
Yannik Paul could be a contender to watch this weekend, as he chases a third professional victory. He comes into this event in excellent form after finishing in a tie for third at the Scandinavian Mixed at the start of June. He could build on that previous outing, while Robert MacIntyre and Antoine Rozner are two further consistent stars worth consideration.
BMW International Open Prediction
It is an extremely open event this weekend, and chances will be taken on two stars at bigger prices. We like both Marcel Siem and Tom McKibbin this weekend, with the latter recently claiming victory at the European Open in Germany. Both finished that event in strong form, and could be solid chances at huge prices.
