Event Preview

The action on the European Tour continues this weekend, as players look to pick up vital points to secure a place at The Open. This weekend’s event will be staged in Denmark, with HimmerLand Golf & Spa Resort playing host to the Made in Denmark. This event has been staged since 2014, with the field playing across 6,646 yards. The event is a par 70, and a purse of $3.25 million is available.

Oliver Wilson is the reigning champion coming into the event, as he won the 2022 event by one shot from Ewen Ferguson. In doing so, he also set the par and aggregate record totals at the event, as he finished 21-under with a score of 263. However, the runner-up 12 months ago could be primed for a big effort this weekend.

Ferguson has shown excellent quality on the European Tour over the last 12 months, and he comes into this weekend looking to win a third event on the tour. His form is strong coming into the weekend, as he finished just three shots off the lead when taking fourth at the British Masters last weekend.

Robert MacIntyre also has previous experience at this event, as he finished just a shot off the lead back in 2019, and he could be primed for a strong challenge this weekend. Guido Migliozzi is a player that hasn’t shown his best form this year, but he finished second at Made in Denmark back in 2021, and could go closer this weekend.

Made in Denmark Prediction

Oliver Wilson is an extremely interesting price to retain his title this weekend, and he comes into the weekend in excellent form after finishing second at the British Masters. Meanwhile, Matthew Southgate could also have the long game to play a part this weekend.
