Event Preview
The Singapore Classic is the featured event on the DP World Tour this weekend, as a talented field will be in competition at Laguna National Golf Resort Club. The Classic Course will be in operation this week, as players compete over a total distance of 7,420 yards at the par 72 event.
This event has only been on the schedule since 2023, and the first edition was a controversial competition after it was sanctioned solely by the European Tour. Ockie Strydom won the inaugural staging of the event, while Jesper Svensson was the most recent winner following a playoff success in 2024.

Robert MacIntyre will be very hard to beat if replicating the form that saw him finish in the top ten at The Players Championship last weekend. However, the delays to play in the U.S. last time out could mean that he arrives to Asia fatigued, which would be a slight concern when taking the Scot at such a short price.
Paul Casey and Tom McKibbin were both in action much closer to the course this weekend, with the former finishing in the top ten at Sentosa. Amateur star Wenyi Ding is also one to note at a bigger price. He was second in Qatar on the DP World Tour earlier this season, and has finished in the top 20 on each of his last two appearances.
Singapore Classic Picks
Alejandro Del Rey could be a player on the shortlist this weekend. The Spanish star is one of the few stars in the field with solid previous course form, including when seventh 12 months ago. That could be the best betting angle to consider when making Singapore Classic Picks.
