Prior to their series loss against the Twins, they had gone 9-2 in their last 11 games. Toronto will aim to return to that level of play, but faces an tough test against the Orioles. SS Bo Bichette (.317 BA, 14 HR) has been stellar.
The Orioles completed a sweep of the Royals on Sunday, increasing their win streak to 4 games. Prior to that streak, Baltimore had cooled off a bit, going 4-7 over the past 11 games. Even after cooling off, they remain very much in the playoff mix. They hold a Wild Card spot, despite having one of the best records. An extended winning streak could give the Orioles a chance at catching the Rays, who sit 6 games ahead.

I believe that Baltimore is the better overall team, but I think that Toronto has the advantage in this game. Not only are they playing better recently, and at home, but they’ll have the capable Chris Bassitt (3.29 ERA) on the mound for this game against Dean Kremer (4.89 ERA). I’ll take the Blue Jays to win it.
