Domingo Germán has done a solid job for the Yankees since his return, especially as of late. Since the start of May, he’s allowed just 9 earned runs in 35 innings pitched, equivalent to a 2.35 ERA. Germán’s last outing was especially impressive, as he allowed just 1 earned run in 6.2 innings pitched against the Dodgers. He hasn’t had the greatest length, so the over seems unlikely here. He should keep scoring low.

Prediction:
Torres has had to step up big for the Yankees in light of injuries to Aaron Judge and Giancarlo Stanton. In the 2nd game of the doubleheader on Thursday, he led them to a win, hitting a 2-run home run in the 4th inning. Despite that, Torres is still hitting a moderate .249 on the season. Relying on him to produce consistent RBIs isn’t a guarantee, so I’d lean towards taking the under here, especially against the Red Sox.

Tanner Houck has had some trouble this season, pitching to a 5.46 ERA thus far. Despite his tendency to allow multiple runs each outing, he still has a relatively high strikeout rate. In his 11 starts this season, he’s struck out at least 5 batters 7 times. Three of those times were exactly 5 strikeouts, but in this game he’ll face a Yankees team that strikes out a lot and has several backups in the lineup. I like the over odds here.
