Fight Preview

Many think of Josh Silveira as the No. 1 candidate for the PFL Light Heavyweight title in 2023. The Florida-based fighter is 11-1 in his professional career, with his only loss happening last year against former UFC veteran, Omari Akhmedov.

Silveira did okay in round 1 of the Akhmetov fight but later got beaten up by the Dagestani fighter. Nevertheless, he did not get finished, which is proof that he’s tough as nails. That said, Ty Flores really doesn’t look like someone who can beat this guy inside the distance.

Flores is 13-4 overall, with just five of his wins happening before the final bell. The last time it happened was six fights ago.

Josh Silveira vs. Ty Flores Prediction

Josh Silveira is a great finisher, with each of his last four wins happening inside the distance. His Achilles heel is his stamina, meaning that if he doesn’t finish Flores, there’s a chance he might lose by points in the end. He probably won’t want to risk it, which is why we think he’s gonna go for an early KO win.
