Larissa Pacheco (21-4) is the reigning PFL Lightweight champ whose goal for 2023 is to win the Womenâs Featherweight title. Sheâs one of the best female mixed martial artists in the PFL, the evidence being that since losing to Kayla Harrison by decision in the 2019 Final, sheâs got all wins.
Sheâs 8-0 since the New Yearâs Eve of 2019, and two of those wins happened against Olena Kolesnyk (9-5) whom sheâs fighting on Friday, August 18. When they met the first time, Pacheco won by a first-round knockout. In their second fight, Pacheco won by a TKO, once again in round 1.

Are we going to see something similar happen in Larissa Pacheco vs. Olena Kolesnyk 3? It sure seems like it. Itâs because Pacheco has been brilliant in 2023, beating Julia Budd by unanimous decision and Amber Leibrock by TKO. Kolesnyk also has two wins in 2023, but they werenât as impressive as those recorded by Pacheco. She defeated Aspen Ladd by a majority decision and Yoko Higashi by unanimous decision.
Larissa Pacheco vs. Olena Kolesnyk Prediction
Larissa Pacheco is arguably the best female fighter in the PFL, so beating Olena Kolesnyk once again shouldnât be much of a problem. Sheâs much better technically and has more power than her opponent, although weâre not 100% certain sheâs going to finish Kolesnyk this time. But we are confident sheâs going to book the ticket to the PFL Final.
