Fight Preview
Patricio Pitbull is one of the greatest legends of Bellator MMA. He’s a former Lightweight champ in this promotion, who’s currently in possession of the Featherweight title. On top of all that, he even once tried to get ahold of the Bantamweight title.
This guy is very ambitious, but he has every right to have a good opinion of himself. Pitbull is a real warrior in the cage, with plenty of weapons in his arsenal. He’s a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu, with incredible striking skills. He also has incredible power for his size.
Pitbull is 5’6, which is roughly 6 inches shorter than his next opponent. However, being short means that he’s got a low center of gravity, which makes it extremely difficult for his opponents to take him down.
We think Jesus Pinedo has no chance of doing it. However, this guy probably doesn’t care much about takedowns. Instead, his strongest weapon is striking. He’s got a reach advantage of nearly 10 inches, so he’ll probably try to keep his rival at a distance. Will this work out for him?
Jesus Pinedo vs. Patricio Pitbull Prediction
Patricio Pitbull has never fought against such a tall opponent as Jesus Pinedo. Standing at 6’1/5, PFL’s champion is one of the tallest featherweights in the world. Will the height and reach difference play an important part in the PFL x Bellator: Champs fight?
