Fight Preview
Anthony Smith (36-18) defeated Ryan Spann (21-8) two years ago but is without a win since. “Lionheart” lost his last two fights – to Magomed Ankalaev and Johnny Walker – both of whom are famous for their striking.
“Superman,” on the other hand, feels more comfortable on the floor, but in the first Smith vs. Spann fight, he got outgrappled by his opponent, who also knocked him down two times in the bout.

The loss to Smith was his first-ever loss by submission in the UFC, but since then, he lost another fight by the same method. It happened in his most recent fight when Nikita Krylov beat him with a triangle choke in the first round.
Anthony Smith vs. Ryan Spann Prediction
Anthony Smith is without a win for almost two years, but we think that changes on Saturday. He’s the better fighter, who also knows how to beat Spann. In their first fight, he did it by a first-round finish and we think the same might happen this time as well.
