Fight Preview
Alexandre Pantoja is a well-rounded fighter with great stamina and plenty of experience, which explains why his overall record is 26-5.
What’s interesting is that each of his five losses happened by decision. When it comes to wins, 16 of them were finishes, and one of those happened against Royval two and a half years ago.
It was Royval’s first loss by submission, as well as his second loss inside the distance. In the fight right before, he lost to Brandon Moreno by a TKO.
Since those two losses, however, he’s been on a roll, winning three fights in a row. The most recent of those happened in April when he KO-ed Matheus Nicolau in the first round. It was a fantastic performance, which actually earned him his first shot at the title.

Both fighters are on form and their recent fights were real thrillers. We wouldn’t be surprised if this one too saw some fantastic moves.
