Nikita Krylov (30-9) returns after a hiatus of nearly two years. The break was his own choice – he wanted to get some rest from fighting and get ready for the next stage of his career.
At the age of 33, “The Miner” looks set for a new run, which could take him all the way to the title fight. This guy is a great finisher – 28 wins, split between 12 KOs and 16 submissions – and enters UFC 314 on a three-fight streak, each victory coming via a different method.
His main weakness? Submissions. Six of his nine losses came that way. But that shouldn’t worry him much in the UFC 314 fight with Dominick Reyes (14-4). The thing is that this guy is all about striking, which worked for him in the last two fights.
“The Devastator” is rebuilding after a rough skid, and if he continues doing well, he could get another shot at the title.
