Before starting his MMA career, Vieira competed in submission grappling for years, winning the world gold medal on six occasions.
The Miami-based Brazilian fighter switched to mixed martial arts in 2017 and is 9-2 since. Unsurprisingly, eight of his nine wins happened by submission.
