Raul Rosas Jr. (10-1) is just 20 years old but he’s already a UFC star. His only loss came by decision in 2023, but he bounced back with three straight wins.
Two of those were finishes – a TKO over Terrence Mitchell and a submission against Ricky Turcios – for each of which he got a Performance of the Night bonus.
The submission win wasn’t surprising as Rosas Jr. thrives on elite Brazilian jiu-jitsu and an aggressive takedown game (averaging 4+ takedowns per 15 minutes). The TKO win on the other hand, was somewhat surprising as UFC fans weren’t aware that he’s also a hell of s striker.
His biggest weakness is experience, something which his UFC Mexico opponent Vince Morales has in abundance. Morales (16-9) is a well-rounded fighter with solid takedown defense.

He’s still in his early 30s, but his recent form suggests his UFC future isn’t very bright. He’s 0-2 since returning to Dana White’s promotion, where he fought a few years back and had a 3-5 record.
What we saw from his UFC fights is that he struggles against leg kicks and striking pressure, which are two areas Rosas Jr. is almost certainly going to try to exploit.

The UFC is clearly invested in building Rosas Jr. into a superstar, and this is another favorable matchup. To put it simply, Rosas is better than Morales. Sure, Morales is tough with plenty of experience, but we just can’t see him stopping the rise of the Mexican young gun.
