Fight Preview

Jim Miller is 36-17-1 in his professional career with 25 of those wins happening in the UFC. This makes him the record-holder for most wins in the history of the promotion.

This guy might already be 40, but he’s not showing any signs of slowing down. In fact, he fought two fights last year, losing to Alexander Hernandez by decision and beating Jesse Butler with a spectacular KO, which earned him his fourth UFC Performance of the Night Bonus.

It was Miller’s seventh win by KO/TKO, which isn’t his favorite method of winning. Instead, the former NCAA wrestler with a BJJ black belt prefers to finish his fights by submission.

This, however, might not work against Gabriel Benitez who’s a fantastic grappler. However, the Mexican fighter seems to have a weak chin, the evidence being that three of his last four losses happened by KO/TKO.

Jim Miller vs. Gabriel Benitez Prediction

We think Jim Miller will win this fight. Knowing that he’s approaching the twilight of his career, he will probably go all-in on January 13 to make sure he adds another win to his portfolio. Sure, Gabriel Benitez isn’t a bad fighter, but we think he’s no match for “A-10”.

And if we had to pick the method by which Miller is going to win, we’d go with KO/TKO.
