Event Preview

The Toyota Owners 400 forms the seventh race of the NASCAR Cup Series schedule this season. This race has been staged annually since 1953, with the field of drivers completing a total distance of 300 miles. The race is made up by 400 laps, with the opening stage consisting of 80 laps. Meanwhile, the second and final stages consist of 155 and 165 laps, respectively.

Kyle Larson was the deserving winner of the race last year, as he bossed the field to claim a first win in the Toyota Owners 400. However, the former world champion will be searching for a response this weekend after finishing back in 17th at the recent EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix. However, he isn’t without his chance.

It has been a reliable start to the season for Martin Truex Jr, with the driver currently sitting top of the Drivers’ Championship standings. He is yet to win a race this season, but he has finished in the top ten in each of the last four races. However, it could be worth looking elsewhere for a win angle based on his results.

Ty Gibbs has also been very consistent at the start of the new NASCAR season, and he could move to the top of the Drivers’ Championship with a positive result this weekend. Gibbs has finished inside the top five in three of the last four races, which includes a third-place finish in the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix last weekend.

Toyota Owners 400 Prediction

There is no shortage of chances in this race on Sunday. However, we would be prepared to take a chance on Christopher Bell, who has finished in the top three on three previous occasions already this term.
