Denny Hamlin comes into the weekend as the defending champion, and he is also the in-form driver at this stage of the season. Hamlin has recorded victories in each of the last two races, which includes a victory in the Goodyear 400 last weekend. That run of form sees him sit second in the championship standings.
William Byron continues to prop up the table after winning the Daytona 500. Byron has finished second in two of the last six races, which included an excellent drive from pole position last Sunday.
Chase Elliott and Kyle Larson will be two other leading contenders to consider this weekend. The former has finished in the top ten in each of the last two races, and a first win of the campaign looks on the horizon.
