Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid is the 2023-24 NBA points leader with 32.0 PPG. Boston’s Jayson Tatum is 10th on the list with 27.7 PPG. Knowing this, it’s only logical to assume that Embiid will score more than Tatum this evening.
However, tonight’s 76ers vs. Celtics game is played at TD Garden, where Tatum always seems to show up. In fact, he scored 36 more points than Embiid the last time these two teams met in Massachusetts.
Another reason why we think that Tatum could outscore Embiid once again is that Philly’s superstar is reportedly struggling with illness.

Prop Pick
The New York Knicks are second in the 2023-24 NBA in defense, conceding just 105.4 points per game. That number probably won’t increase tonight after the game with the Toronto Raptors. Why? Because the Raptors are the league’s eighth-worst offense, scoring just 111.5 points on average.
Pascal Siakam is their scoring leader with 19.9 PPG, but that’s mostly thanks to a couple of high-scoring performances (over 30 points) against teams with horrible defense – the Indiana Pacers, Washington Wizards, and so on.
His points margin for today’s Knicks vs. Raptors games is set at 21.5, and we think he’s gonna go under. It’s just that the Cameroon power forward has scored over 21.5 points in only 36.36% of the games he’s played in the 2023-24 season.

Prop Pick
The Phoenix Suns are seventh in the league when it comes to scoring, with their average being 116.4 points per game. More than one quarter of those are the work of Kevin Durant whose average is 31.3 PPG.

The 35-year-old has scored 30+ in each of the last six games he’s played. But will he be able to do the same against the NBA’s seventh defense?
He didn’t do it in the last three Phoenix vs. Denver games. In fact, KD has only scored 30 or more in three of the nine games the Suns have played against the Nuggets since his arrival to Arizona last February.
