By · Updated 1 year ago
  • We’ve got three NBA player props for you for Wednesday, December 27.
  • Will Pascal Siakam score more than usual in the game against the NBA’s worst defense?
  • Giannis Antetokounmpo and Luka Doncic are reportedly struggling with injuries.

Six games of the 2023-24 NBA season are on the program today, with three of those looking ideal for player prop betting. In the game between the Raptors and Wizards, Toronto’s Pascal Siakam looks ready to score more points than usual.

In the Bucks vs. Nets game, Giannis Antetokounmpo will be in the spotlight even though the Greek Freak is reportedly struggling with a calf injury. It’s a similar situation with Luka Doncic in tonight’s duel between the Cavaliers and Mavericks.

Game Preview

The Toronto Raptors aren’t famous for productive offense – they’re averaging 112.4 points per game (22nd in the NBA) – but they now have a good chance of upping their numbers. Why? Because tonight, they’re playing against the league’s worst defense.

The Washington Wizards are conceding 126.6 points per game, with their average at Capital One Arena    (which is where they play tonight) being 112.7.

Knowing this, it seems that the Raptors should be able to score more points than usual. If they’re going to pull it off, their scoring leader Pascal Siakam will have to produce more than he usually does. His average on the season is 21.3 PPG, but we can definitely see him go over 25.5 tonight.

NBA Player PropOdds
Pascal Siakam Over 25.5 Points

Game Preview

Milwaukee’s Giannis Antetokounmpo has been brilliant this season and is one of the main candidates for the 2023-24 NBA MVP award. He’s averaging 30.8 points per game this season and we saw him break the franchise record for most points in a game some two weeks ago when he scored 64 points against the Indiana Pacers.

This time, however, we think he won’t get anywhere near that number. In fact, we think he’s gonna go under 31.5 points which is the number set by the BetUS Sportsbook oddsmakers.

The reason? He’s struggling with a calf injury, which is why he might not spend too much time on the court.

NBA Player PropOdds
Giannis Antetokounmpo Under 31.5 Points

Cavaliers vs. Mavericks

Same as Giannis Antetokounmpo, Luka Doncic too is apparently struggling with fitness. Dallas’ superstar is almost certainly going to play tonight, but will he be at his best?

In his last outing, he scored 50 points, spending 43:31 minutes on the court. Now, less than 24 hours after that game, he needs to play again and we’re sure he’s not going to do as well as last night.

Another reason why we think he’s gonna go under is that his team is taking on the Cleveland Cavaliers, who are sitting in the shared sixth position on the list of the best defenses. These guys are conceding just 111.9 points per game.

NBA player PropOdds
Luka Doncic Under 36.5 Points
