We did very well with our NBA player props yesterday. Those who followed our betting advice have more than doubled their money. Can we do the same again today?

There are ten games of the 2023-24 NBA on the program tonight, with two of those looking great for player performance betting. We’re now going to analyze those games, sharing our top prop picks along the way.

Bucks vs. Cavaliers

How to Watch

  • When: Friday, December 29, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse, Cleveland, Ohio
  • Channel: NBA TV

Game Preview

Tonight’s Bucks vs. Cavaliers game is played at Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse where Cleveland is undefeated against Milwaukee for almost four years. The Cavaliers won each of their last four home games against the Cavs.

The most recent of those saw Cleveland’s center Evan Mobley do great, scoring 38 points. Unfortunately for the Cavs, he’s injured and won’t play tonight.

As if that wasn’t bad enough, the Cavs will miss a few more players. On the bright side, their points leader Donovan Mitchell is expected to return after missing a few games due to an illness. Still, we doubt he’s going to do much.

In fact, tonight’s game looks ideal for the Bucks to end their losing run in Cleveland, and for that, they need to keep Mitchel to under 30 points.

NBA Player PropOdds
Donovan Mitchell Under 29.5 Points

76ers vs. Rockets

How to Watch

  • When: Friday, December 29, 2023, at 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: Toyota Center, Houston, Texas
  • Channel: NBA League Pass

Game Preview

The Houston Rockets are the league’s second defense, conceding just 109.0 points per game. These guys are great defensively, but even they probably wouldn’t be able to stop the NBA’s points leader Joel Embiid. Luckily for Houston, Philly’s superstar won’t play tonight.

With Embiid out with an injury, the 76ers are putting their hopes into Tyrese Maxey who’s averaging 25.8 points per game. However, he’s not been in a scoring mood lately. In Philly’s two previous games – in which they were without Embiid – Maxey scored a total of 45 points.

We don’t think he’s going to do much better this time either, which is why our prop pick is Maxey under 27.5.
