There’s plenty of action in the NBA on the penultimate day of 2023, with six games on the program. They all look like great matchups, but if you’re after some NBA player props, you might wanna focus on the following two games – Lakers vs. Timberwolves and Mavericks vs. Warriors.

Lakers vs. Timberwolves

Game Preview

The Minnesota Timberwolves are the No. 1 defense in the 2023-24 NBA, allowing just 107.4 points per game. They’re even better when it comes to home games, with their defensive average at Target Center being just 101.7.

This evening, they’re taking on a team that hasn’t been scoring much this season. The Los Angeles Lakers are scoring 114.9 points on average, with LeBron James being responsible for 25.1 of those. However, we doubt he’s gonna get anywhere near that number in tonight’s game.

Luka Doncic or Steph Curry – who’s gonna score more points tonight?

Doncic is second on the list of the highest-scoring players in the 2023-24 season with a PPG of 33.7. However, Dallas’ superstar has been reportedly struggling with fitness, which is why he had to miss his team’s duel with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Golden State’s three-point field-goal expert is 100% fit, but his recent form hasn’t been great. This guy scored just 31 points combined in his last two games. In comparison, Doncic scored a total of 89 points in his last two outings.

So, it all comes down to whether Doncic is healthy to play tonight. If he’s alright physically, we’re certain that he’s going to outscore Curry.
