2023-24 NBA Player Props, Breakdown, Odds, and Picks (Dec 4)

There are just two NBA games season on the program this evening, but we think that’s more than enough for betting. This goes especially if you’re into NBA player props because these two games seem ideal for that.

It’s the inaugural NBA In-Season Tournament games we’re talking about – Boston Celtics vs. Indiana Pacers and New Orleans Pelicans vs. Sacramento Kings – both of which are televised by TNT.

With 128.8 points per game, the Indiana Pacers are the NBA’s No. 1 offense at the moment. So, why are these guys just .556 in the 2023-24 NBA?

This is because Indiana is the team that allows more points than any other team in the NBA. The Pacers are conceding 125.9 points per game on average.  

Given that the game with the Celtics is played in the NBA In-Season tournament, the Pacers probably won’t care too much about defense. They’ll want to put on a good show for their fans, which is why we expect them to concede a lot of points.

All of Boston’s key men should score more than usual this evening, including some who have been struggling to score double figures lately. One player who fits the description is Al Horford, who scored under 10 points in three of his last six games. We think he’s gonna do better this time.

The Sacramento Kings have some really tough games coming up after the quarterfinal of the 2023-24 NBA In-Season tournament, so coach Mike Brown might decide to give some of his key men rest tonight.

Sure, he’ll probably let Sacramento’s points leader De’Aaron Fox play against the Pelicans, but the coach might decide to give him only a limited time on the court to eliminate any risk of injuries.

As a result, we could see Fox score fewer points than usual. His average in the 2023-24 NBA is 30.3 PPG, but we think he’s gonna score at least three or four points fewer this evening.
