The first day of February brings us four interesting NBA games. For each of those, we’ve got an interesting NBA player prop. We’re now going to present you with those bets, explaining why we think they’re going to win. If this sounds good, let’s start!
Lakers vs. Celtics
How to Watch
- When: Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET
- Where: TD Garden, Boston, Massachusetts
- Channel: TNT
Prop Pick
The Boston Celtics are one of the highest-scoring teams in the league, which is no surprise as they’ve got Jayson Tatum on the roster. This guy is averaging 26.9 points per game, and he’s been in top form lately, scoring more than his average in each of his last two games.
Can he do it once again? We think he can. There are several reasons for this besides the fact that he’s been in good shape. Firstly, the Lakers vs. Celtics game is played at Boston’s TD Garden. The last time these two met there, Tatum scored 30 points.
Further, the visitors will be without their arguably best player Anthony Davis, who’s been fantastic defensively in the 2023-24 season.

Pacers vs. Knicks
How to Watch
- When: Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET
- Where: Madison Square Garden, New York City, New York
- Channel: NBA League Pass
Prop Pick
The Indiana Pacers are the NBA’s highest-scoring team with a PPG of 124.5. The only way for the New York Knicks to beat them is to outscore them. Luckily for the home team, this shouldn’t be too hard as the Pacers are the league’s third-worst defense.
Jalen Brunson should lead the Knicks’s charge in tonight’s game. He’s their points leader with a 26.8 PPG, whose recent form has been amazing – he scored more than that in seven of his last eight games.

Cavaliers vs. Grizzlies
How to Watch
- When: Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. ET
- Where: FedExForum, Memphis, Tennessee
- Channel: NBA League Pass
Prop Pick
Cleveland’s center Jarrett Allen has been playing amazing basketball throughout the 2023-24 season, recording a double-double in each of his last 15 games. We are absolutely certain he’s going to do the same this evening.
In fact, we might even see him get a triple-double this time. The reason why we think that is that the Grizzlies are really banged up with at least nine players expected to miss tonight’s game, including Desmond Bane, Ja Morant, and Vince Williams.

76ers vs. Jazz
How to Watch
- When: Thursday, February 1, 2024, at 10:00 p.m. ET
- Where: Delta Center, Salt Lake City, Utah
- Channel: TNT
Prop Pick
The NBA’s points leader Joel Embiid suffered another injury and will miss the 76ers vs. Jazz duel. With him out of the picture, some of his colleagues from the Philly roster will have to step up. So, who will it be?

You’d think that it’s going to be Tyrese Maxey, who’s Philadelphia’s second-highest scorer with a PPG of 25.7. But he too had some problems with fitness for which he missed the last three games, and might even sit out tonight’s game.
This is why our pick is Tobias Harris, who has no other option but to try and score 22+ points.
