2023-24 NBA Player Props, Breakdown, Odds, and Picks (Feb 6)

By · Updated 1 year ago
  • We’ve got some NBA player props for you for Tuesday, February 6, 2024!
  • Houston’s Alperen Sengun to score over 21 points is one of our top picks.
  • Another prediction we have is that Paolo Banchero will score more than Bam Adebayo.

The Houston Rockets are hoping to improve their offensive numbers in the game against one of the NBA’s worst defenses. Will they pull it off, and if yes, which of their players will stand out?

That’s one of the questions we’ll try to answer in this post. Another is who will score more points, Miami’s Bam Adebayo or Orlando’s Paolo Banchero?

Rockets vs. Pacers

How to Watch

  • When: Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. ET
  • Where: Gainbridge Fieldhouse, Indianapolis, Indiana
  • Channel: NBA League Pass

Prop Pick

The Indiana Pacers are the NBA’s highest-scoring team. This evening, they’re locking horns with one of the league’s best defenses, the Houston Rockets. In fact, just until a few weeks ago, Houston was the team with the least number of points conceded.

Now, however, the Rockets have an average of 112.3 points conceded per game. They’ve been struggling offensively as well, although we did see them score 130+ in a couple of games in 2024 (e.g., vs. LA Lakers and Toronto Raptors).

Their points average is 113.4, which isn’t great, but it’s because they’ve had a seriously tough schedule, with their most recent game being against the NBA’s current best defense, the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Luckily for them, Indiana’s defense is much, much worse than Minnesota’s. In fact, the Pacers concede 122.4 points per game, which makes them the NBA’s third-worst defense.

So, if the Rockets are going to score more than usual, who’s going to lead the charge? Houston’s 21-year-old center Alperen Sengun has been brilliant this season, producing good performances all the time.

His average on the season is 21.6 PPG and we think he’s going to go over that number this evening.

Magic vs. Heat

How to Watch

  • When: Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Where: Kaseya Center, Miami, Florida

Prop Pick

The Sunshine State Rivalry will reach the boiling point tonight in the third Magic vs. Heat duel of 2024. The first was won by Miami, but Orlando’s forward Paolo Banchero was the best scorer.

The Magic got their revenge a few days later, but this time, it was Heat’s center Bam Adebayo who scored more points than anyone else.

The big question here is who’s gonna score more points tonight – Banchero or Adebayo?

Our prop pick is Banchero, as this guy has been constantly in good form. He’s scored 20+ points in 15 of the 18 games he’s played so far in 2024.

Adebayo, on the other hand, scored 20+ only once in his last seven games. During this period, we also saw him score just 8 points in one game. Plus, in Miami’s most recent game (vs. LA Clippers), he scored just 16 points.
