By · Updated 1 year ago
  • We’ve got two NBA player props for you for Wednesday, February 7, 2024!
  • One of our props for today is that Donovan Mitchell will demolish the NBA’s worst defense.
  • Our prediction is that Scottie Barnes will score a couple of 3-pointers this evening.

Seven games of the 2023-24 NBA are on the program on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, with two of those catching our eye for being great for player props.

The first of those is the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Washington Wizards game, in which we expect to see a real masterclass by Donovan Mitchell. The other one is the Toronto Raptors vs. Charlotte Hornets game, which looks like an ideal opportunity for Scottie Barnes to improve his 3-point field goal percentage.

Prop Pick

The Washington Wizards are conceding 124.0 points per game, which makes them the worst defense in the league. The bad news for their fans is that their average might get even worse after tonight’s game. It’s because they’re playing against the Donovan Mitchell-led Cleveland Cavaliers.

Mitchell has been in sensational form throughout the entire season, with his points average in 2023-24 being 28.2. His average in his last five games is even better – 31.6 PPG.

Donovan Mitchell 31+ Points

Raptors vs. Hornets

How to Watch

  • When: Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. ET
  • Where: Spectrum Center, Charlotte, North Carolina
  • Channel: NBA League Pass

Prop Pick

The Charlotte Hornets have been in horrible form, losing each of their last eight games. These guys have serious problems with injuries, but even if that wasn’t the case, the Toronto Raptors would still fancy their chances in this game.

This goes particularly because the Hornets are horrible when it comes to defending from 3-point field goals. Their opponents are scoring 13.6 points from the 3-point line on average.

Knowing this, it’s only logical to assume that some of Toronto’s men will try to score a couple of 3-pointers tonight. We think that one of them is going to be Scottie Barnes

The guy is great when it comes to scoring from a distance, and we can definitely see him score at least two 3-pointers against the Hornets.
