2023-24 NBA Player Props, Breakdown, Odds, and Picks (Jan 13)
- We’ve got some NBA player props for you for Saturday, January 13, 2024!
- Our prop pick is that Jaylen Brown will score more than what bookies think.
- We predict Trae Young will demolish Washington’s defense this evening.
Eight games are on the program today in the 2024 NBA. Two of those caught our attention for being great for NBA player props.
The first of those is the Houston Rockets vs. Boston Celtics, in which the NBA’s No. 2 defense will have to do all in its power to stop the in-form Jaylen Brown from scoring as many points as he did in their last duel – he scored 43 points the last time Rockets and Celtics played.
Another NBA game that looks great for player props is Washington Wizards vs. Atlanta Hawks. Why? Because this is a duel between the NBA’s two worst defenses.
Rockets vs. Celtics

Prop Pick
In the 2023-24 NBA season, the Houston Rockets have been sensational defensively. These guys are conceding just 110.6 points per game.
This sounds good, but there’s one thing that needs to worry them ahead of tonight’s game with the Celtics. They have some bad memories from the duels with Boston, with Jaylen Brown being their boogeyman.
Boston’s point guard has been fantastic against the Rockets, scoring 43 points the last time met. It happened back in March in Texas. The last time they met at TD Garden in Boston, he scored 39.
Will he score a lot again? We think so. Sure, he probably won’t get anywhere near those numbers, but it doesn’t matter – BetUS is keeping his points margin relatively low and we’re sure he’s going to go over.

Prop Pick
These two are the NBA’s worst defenses, each conceding more than 124 points a game. The difference, however, is that the Hawks have also been scoring a lot, which hasn’t been the case with the Wizards.
Atlanta’s scoring success is mostly thanks to point guard Trae Young, who’s one of the highest-scoring players in the 2023-24 NBA.

The last time he played against Washington, he scored 40 points. Although he might not score as many tonight, we predict another high-scoring performance for “Ice Trae.”
