- We’ve got two interesting NBA player prop bets for you for Friday, January 26, 2024.
- Tim Hardaway looks destined to score more than usual tonight against the Hawks.
- Will we see a third Giannis Antetokounmpo triple-double in a row?
Friday brings us eight interesting NBA matchups, two of which really caught our attention for being great for player prop bets.
The first of those games is the Dallas Mavericks vs. Atlanta Hawks game, in which we expect to see Tim Hardaway shine. The other is the Cleveland Cavaliers vs. Milwaukee Bucks game, in which, as always, everything is about Giannis Antetokounmpo.

The Dallas Mavericks haven’t been great lately, losing four of their last six games. Their best player, Luka Doncic, has been brilliant lately, going 30+ in each of his last six games. His teammates, on the other hand, haven’t been as great.
Tim Hardaway is someone who needs to up his game ASAP. His season average is 18.1, which is his best PPG since coming to Dallas in 2018. However, this guy has it in him for an even better performance.
We’re not saying this without evidence. In the game with the New Orleans Pelicans 11 days ago, Hardaway scored 41 points. Although we don’t think he’s going to score as much tonight against the Atlanta Hawks, we can definitely see him do better than his average.

Cleveland is the NBA’s second-best defense, conceding just 110.1 points per game. But this evening, the Cavaliers are playing against the League’s top offense, the Milwaukee Bucks, who are averaging 124.6 points per game.
They’ve got a new coach – Doc Rivers – who replaced the recently sacked Adrian Griffin. Will the change have an impact on their performance? It probably won’t because the Bucks are a professional bunch.
Their points leader is Giannis Antetokounmpo who’s currently the league’s third highest-scoring player with a PPG of 31.3. He scored 31 or more in each of his last three games, including the one with the Cavaliers, in which he scored 35. Further, we also saw him record a triple-double in two previous games.
We think he might do it a third time in a row. The reason is that the Bucks must act as a team if they want to outsmart the Cavs on Friday evening.
That’s why simply scoring plenty of points won’t be enough for Giannis. He also needs to record 10+ rebounds, as well as make 10+ assists to Damian Lillard, Khris Middleton, and other teammates.
