Jayson Tatum is Boston’s points leader with a PPG of 26.8. However, he went over that number on only two occasions in his last 10 games. We, however, think he’s going to do better this time. The reason is that his team is taking on one of the NBA’s worst defenses this evening.
It’s the Indiana Pacers we’re talking about, a team that’s allowing 122.8 points per game. In comparison, the Celtics are conceding roughly 12 points fewer per game.
Another reason we expect Tatum to score many points tonight is that the Pacers vs. Celtics game is played at TD Garden. The last time he played against Indiana there, we saw him score 30 points. Why wouldn’t he do something similar tonight?
