Joel Embiid seems to love playing against New Orleans.

Seven games of the 2023-24 NBA season are on the program tonight (Wednesday, November 29), with some of those looking great for NBA player props.

One of those is the Phoenix vs. Toronto game, in which Kevin Durant will be in the spotlight. The other NBA game we think is good for player props is Philadelphia vs. New Orleans, in which Joel Embiid is expected to put on a big performance.

However, we’re not sure he’ll be able to get anywhere near that number tonight. Why? Because his team is taking on one of the NBA’s best defensive teams, the Toronto Raptors.

Durant has a 20-8 record against this opponent, but this is going to be the first time that he’s taking on the Raptors as a Suns player. We think he’s going to do alright but will probably score under 28 points.

Philadelphia’s Joel Embiid is the 2023-24 NBA offensive leader who’s scoring 32.0 points per game on average. Will he do better or worse than that this evening in NOLA?

We think he’s going to have a good performance tonight, mainly because he seems to love playing against the Pelicans. The last time he played against New Orleans, Embiid scored 42 points. It happened last January in Philly.

The last time he played against the Pelicans in New Orleans, he did almost equally well – he scored 37 points.
