Game Preview

The Sixers are 0-2. Doubts about their quality have already appeared. However, knowing Philly’s past and all the failures, it wasn’t too hard for that to happen. Toronto was better than the team from Brotherly Love in Canada last night, 115-107.

Embiid was out, the same as Paul George. Both of them will be out tonight, too. Kelly Oubre had a team-high 28 points, while Tyrese Maxey scored 24, yet shooting pretty badly, 6-for-23, 2-for-12 from downtown.

The Pacers were blown away in New York 123-98. It was one of the biggest losses this franchise experienced in the past year or two, and truly, nothing worked for Indiana.

Bennedict Mathurin was the sole bright spot on their team, scoring 20 points in 24 minutes off the bench. Believe it or not, Tyreese Haliburton didn’t score a point in this one, missing seven threes.
