The way the Boston Celtics opened the NBA season was impressive. Cs are again the top contenders to win the NBA title, and to be honest, that’s something we expected. Meanwhile, the Wizards are in a rebuild, with Alex Sar as their new leader.

Game Preview
Boston sunk 29 threes against the Knicks, tying the NBA record and sending a strong message to all the other rivals that they intend to go back-to-back. It was 132-109 for them against the Knicks, who left TD Garden utterly embarrassed.
It’s interesting to note that the Cs hit the 29th three with almost nine minutes to go and couldn’t hit a single one afterward. Jayson Tatum scored 37 points with ten assists, Derrick White had 24, and Jaylen Brown 23.
The Wizards are candidates for last place in the East NBA standings. They are a young and talented team, though, without any experience and with a new leader on the roster—Alex Sar.
Brian Keefe needs to find a balance between improving the team and posting somewhat decent results. During the preseason, the team had three losses and two wins, which isn’t that bad at all.

Boston was without mercy last year, beating the Wizards in all four matches and stuffing at least 126 points in each one of those contests. The all-time head-to-head record is 202-120 for the Cs.

The Cs are way stronger than the Wizards, and it seems that the champs started the campaign furiously. We expect them to win and cover an 11.5-point spread.
