Game Preview
The Cavaliers have won seven in a row and are still battling the Thunder for the home-court advantage in a potential NBA Finals series. Their most recent victim was the Memphis Grizzlies, whom they beat 129-123 in a high-octane battle in Ohio.
This was meeting the top two offenses in the NBA, and Cleveland had more success. Donovan Mitchell led the way with 33 points, while Ty Jerome popped out as an X-factor here, scoring 26 points off the bench.
Meanwhile, the Magic are slowly completing the roster following injuries. They had an easy task at home, beating the Wizards 110-90. Both Franz Wagner and Anthony black scored 23 points each. Wagner made only one three in seven attempts but still got to be the top scorer with Black, who came off the bench.
Orlando Magic have the 2nd best defense in the league, which limits the rivals to only 105.5 points per game. That’s something they have been doing since the start of the season.
