Game Preview
Kawhi Leonard is out, and that’s a huge blow for the Clippers. It seems that the Claw simply can’t be healthy consistently and that he became a burned for this crew. Though, that didn’t prevent the management from moving on from Paul George and keeping the two-time champion.
LAC lost to the Phoenix Suns at home following an overtime 116-113. Even though the Clippers had more rebounds, 51-42, they couldn’t exploit that and win. James Harden had 29 points, 12 boards, and eight assists, though shooting 10-for-28. Ivica Zubac added 21 and nine rebounds.
The Nuggets couldn’t compete with the Thunder in any aspect of play. Oklahoma was very dominant, trashing the former champs for the second time in a row in less than 10 days. It was 87-102 for the guests, who froze Jokic and the boys.
Denver was extremely dominant on the glass, 57-49, but they didn’t have any notable scorers. Jokic and Christian Braun ended the night with 16 points each, a team-high. The Joker managed to record a triple-double, having 13 assists and 12 rebounds.
