Game Preview
The Hawks met the Bulls in Chicago the previous night, losing 120-111. It was their second defeat in the preseason, though several important players, like Bogdanovic, Risacher, or Hunter, didn’t play.
Atlanta was inferior on the glass, having 38 boards, nine fewer than the rivals. Jalen Johnson had a blast, scoring 21 points in 17 minutes, 8-for-9 from the field; Trae ended the night with ten buckets and seven assists.
The way the Thunder smashed Denver in Colorado, 124-94, was impressive. And yes, despite being a preseason game, it won’t diminish OKC’s success.
Shai had 19 buckets in 20 minutes, and five more players scored double-digit points. The Thunder had 31 assists, while on the other side, they forced the Nuggets to lose possession on 22 occasions.
