Game Preview
The Lakers have been pretty confident recently, going 4-1 SU in the previous five events. LAL’s most recent victory came against the reigning NBA champions, the Boston Celtics, 117-96. They were highly confident right from the start, creating a double-digit edge quickly.
Once again, Anthony Davis led the way. The 31-year-old veteran has been excellent this year. AD averages 25.6 points, 11.8 boards with 2.2 blocks, 13 steals and 52.3% FG. We aren’t mistaken when saying that he’s the one carrying the Lakers, not LeBron or any other player.
Golden State Warriors are still oscillating way too much. They are coming off a win against the Chicago Bulls, 131-106, yet before that one, GSW had back-to-back defeats.
The Warriors’ primary weapon, offense, has been at its worst in the previous few years. They average only 111.4 points, which is much lower than in the past, when they had a significantly higher average. Even Dennis Schroder’s trade didn’t help them improve.
Lakers vs. Warriors Head to Head
The LA Lakers have played with the Warriors in the Bay Area already once this year. They were better 115-113 after a close game.
Lakers vs. Warriors Prediction
The Warriors are back home, and the Lakers are on the road, where they don’t post such shiny results. Their record outside the crypto.com Arena is 10-11, while the Warriors boast a 16-6 record at Chase Center. So our NBA betting pick here is the Warriors to win.
