Match Preview
The Lakers lost to the T-Wolves, Suns, and Warriors during the preseason and beat the Bucks. Now, these are all top-tier teams, yet we can’t say this could justify their record.
Warriors handed purple and gold 111-97 defeat, which came without too much sweat. LeBron scored 6 points in 23 minutes, while Anthony Davis dominated under the rim with 24 buckets and 12 boards, which wasn’t enough for a victory.
On the other hand, the Suns had a few days off. Apart from losing to the Pistons in the second of back-to-back games, they’ve been solid throughout the preseason.
Their most recent triumph was against the 2023 NBA champions, the Denver Nuggets, 118-114. Durant and Booker didn’t play in this event, so Ryan Dunn and Monte Morris stepped up, each pouring 20 buckets. The Suns splashed 23 threes in this contest.
