Game Preview
The Grizzlies are 4-1 in the past five, and their offense has been explosive in all those wins. For instance, they’ve scored 144 points against the Warriors, 155 against the Raptors, and 132 against the Pelicans on the road.
Right now, the Grizzlies have the No.1 offense in the NBA, with 124 points per game. We have to admit that the Tennessee team is very confident, but they face a huge problem – Ja Morat won’t play. He injured his already wounded shoulder. The fantastic guard averages 21.2 points, 7.9 assists and 4.4 rebounds over 20 games this year.
OKC had a stretch of excellent performances, posting four wins, three of them on the road against the Magic, Heat, and Pacers. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been tremendous this season, delivering 31.1 points (second in the NBA), 6.1 assists, and 51.6% field-goal shooting.
This game will be on the second of back-to-back nights, with the note that the Thunder had to travel from Charlotte to OKC. Undoubtedly, that’s going to have some impact on their performance.
Grizzlies vs. Thunder Head to Head
This is the first of four matches between these sides in the 2024/25 NBA season.
Grizzlies vs. Thunder Prediction
Ja Morant’s absence didn’t affect the Grizzlies in the past that much. In 12 events this year Memphis is 8-4. Still, the Thunder is very strong at home, and despite their fatigue, we expect them for OKC to triumph.
