Game Preview
The Heat played well until the middle of the second period when the Cavs pulled away. Their play-in battles took a toll and with the Cavs pumping up the tempo, Miami simply stayed behind.
Bam Adebayo scored 24 points with nine boards, while Tyler Herro added 21. Miami Heat’s bench scored only 33 points, Davion Mitchell 18.
On the other side, the Cavs’ dynamic duo Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland had 57 points combined, the first 30 and the latter 27. But the x-factor was Ty Jerome who exploded off the bench.
The 27-year-old shooting guard had 28 points, hitting 5 threes and shooting 10-for-15 from the field. Jarrett Allen scored 12 with 11 boards, six of them offensive.
Heat vs. Cavaliers Head to Head
During the regular season, these teams met three times. Heat won the opening game, 122-113 at home, then lost the next two at home and on the road, 126-106 and 112-107.
Heat vs. Cavaliers Game 2 Predictions
The Heat no longer have Jimmy Butler, and Andrew Wiggins is far from his level of play. They are also tired, which means that the Cavs have everything at their disposal for another victory. We pick a combo bet here, the Cavs, and over 215.5 points.
