NBA Player Props, Breakdown, Odds, and Picks (May 12)

We’ve got some NBA player props for you!

Another two NBA playoff games are on the program tonight. In the East, the Miami Heat have a chance to knock the New York Knicks out by making it 4-2 this evening. Over in the Western Conference, the Los Angles Lakers have a chance to do exactly the same to the Golden State Warriors.

Knowing how important these games are for the teams involved, it’s only logical to assume that all the players who get onto the court tonight are going to give their utmost. Some of them will succeed, some of them will fail. Let’s see which ones will do which.

Knicks vs Heat

This is the Heat’s second chance to knock the Knicks out of the playoffs. They missed the first one two days ago – the Knicks beat them 112-103 at Madison Square Garden, making it 3-2 for Miami.

Now, the series is coming back to Florida where Erik Spoelstra’s boys are undefeated since the start of the 2023 postseason. They also have a very good record against the Knicks in games played at Kaseya Center. That’s where they are 8-2 in their last ten meetings.

In their most recent duel in Miami, Heat’s center Bam Adebayo was incredible in the air, recording 13 rebounds. It was his highest number in ten games, and we think he might do something similar tonight. “Over 13” may seem too ambitious, especially given that BetOnline is giving +420 on this player prop, but we’re fairly confident Bam Bam will pull it off.  

Warriors vs Lakers

With the help of their fans at Crypto.com Arena, the Lakers will try to seal the deal and make their way to the Western Conference Finals. At home, these guys are nothing short of brilliant, with eight straight home wins since March. Plus, they’re also without a single loss against the Warriors in LA since 2021.

All of their players seem to up their performance when playing on home turf, with LeBron James being a prime example. This guy scored 20+ points in each of his team’s last seven home games.

King James also recorded at least eight rebounds in five of those games. When it comes to assists, the last time he recorded fewer than five in home matches was on February 7.

We’re certain that he’s going to do well this evening. Combined, the number of his points, rebounds, and assists is almost certainly going to be over 40.
